Terms and Conditions

Effective October 22, 2026. These terms apply to mtlconstructionservices.com, to the free inspection offer, and to payments you make to MTL Construction Services LLC ("MTL") online. Your signed project agreement controls your construction work. If these terms and a signed agreement conflict, the signed agreement controls, except where Texas law requires otherwise.

About MTL

MTL Construction Services LLC is a Texas limited liability company located at 2028 E Ben White Blvd, Ste 240-8083, Austin, TX 78741. Contact MTL at 512-710-5432 or mark@mtlconstructionservices.com.

Using this website

The website is for general information about MTL's services. Nothing on it is a contract, offer or guarantee of work until you sign a written agreement with MTL. Information on the site may change without notice. You may not copy, resell or misuse the site's content or photos, and MTL's name, logo and project photos belong to MTL. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; MTL does not control those sites.

Free inspection

MTL offers a free roof inspection to homeowners in its service areas. The inspection includes a written assessment and photos. It carries no obligation to hire MTL, and you may decline MTL's services after receiving the assessment. The inspection is subject to access to the property and to scheduling availability. If MTL finds no roof damage that warrants a repair or insurance claim, MTL will say so in writing.

Estimates and agreements

Estimates are not binding until you sign a written agreement that describes the scope of work, materials, price, payment schedule and warranty. Work begins only after the agreement is signed and any required disclosures have been given.

Payments

Online payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. You enter your card or bank details on Stripe's secure pages, and MTL does not store your full card or bank account numbers. Each payment is for the deposit, progress payment or invoice amount set in your signed agreement or invoice. Payment does not change the scope of work. If you believe a payment is wrong, contact MTL before starting a payment dispute with your bank so MTL can resolve it. Stripe's terms and privacy policy also apply to payments and are available at stripe.com (opens in a new tab) (link opens in a new tab).

Cancellation and refunds

Completed work is not refundable. Cancellation rights, deposits and payments for work not yet performed are governed by your signed agreement and Texas law. Homeowners who have the right to cancel within three business days can do so in writing, as described in the agreement.

If you cancel before work begins, MTL will return any deposit that has not been spent on materials ordered for your project or on work performed, as your agreement describes. Materials ordered for your project at your request are not refundable once ordered.

Texas and federal law may give you a right to cancel certain sales made at your home. Where that right applies, your cancellation notice will be honored as the law requires, and this section does not limit it.

Insurance claims and deductibles

Texas law requires a person insured under a property insurance policy to pay any deductible applicable to a claim made under the policy. It is a violation of Texas law for a person or business to waive, pay or rebate that deductible. MTL does not waive, pay or rebate your deductible. MTL does not act as a public adjuster, and does not negotiate your insurance claim on your behalf. You select and control your insurance claim. Any written authorization you give MTL to work with you and your insurance company on a claim can be cancelled as your agreement describes.

Workmanship and warranty

MTL's workmanship warranty is stated in your signed agreement, including its length and what it covers. If you believe your work is defective, give MTL written notice at mark@mtlconstructionservices.com or by mail to the office address above, describing the problem, so MTL can inspect and repair it. Texas law requires written notice and an opportunity to repair before a homeowner can sue a contractor for a construction defect in residential work, under Texas Property Code Chapter 27.

Texas disclosures

MTL's written Construction Agreement contains the disclosure statement required by Texas Property Code Chapter 53 for residential construction. The agreement also includes the owner's written waiver of the list of subcontractors and suppliers.

Limits on responsibility

To the extent allowed by law, the website and its content are provided as-is, without guarantees. MTL's liability for work is governed by the signed agreement and Texas law. Nothing in these terms limits any right that Texas law does not allow to be limited.

Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by Texas law. Please contact MTL first to resolve any concern. Any lawsuit about these terms or the website must be filed in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.

Changes to these terms

MTL may update these terms. When it does, MTL updates the effective date at the top of this page and posts the new version here. Changes apply to work and payments made after the effective date, and do not change a signed agreement.
